Katherine C. Wolinsky, OTR/L

Occupational Therapy Director 

Katherine C. Wolinsky

Katherine is a licensed Occupational Therapist with over 25 years of experience who loves supporting children and families in navigating their individual journeys. Katherine received her degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. She began her career at the University of Miami Mailman Center for Child Development, where she held the position for 10 years. Her experience included being a team member of an interdisciplinary developmental team that evaluated and treated children from all over the world varying in diagnoses. Katherine has since served as a clinical and community instructor. She has worked in a variety of pediatric settings, including neonatal intensive care units, pediatric extended care facilities, early intervention, and private and public schools. Since 2007 Katherine has grown her private practice through reputation and referral from a trusted network of clinical, medical, and community professionals to be the team it is today. Katherine has advanced training in Sensory Integration, Neuro-Developmental Treatment, Assistive Technology, Handwriting Instructions, Developmental Disorders, Autism Spectrum, and Attention Deficit Disorders.

Miyuki Hasegawa-Alonso

Speech-Language Therapy Director 

Miyuki Hasegawa-Alonso

Miyuki is an ASHA and State-Certified Bilingual Speech and Language Pathologist who is passionate about her career. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2002. She received her master’s in science degree in Speech and Language Pathology and Audiology from Florida Atlantic University in 2004. Miyuki has served as a member of interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and treat children through the Early Intervention Program. She has worked in a variety of pediatric settings, such as private practices and elementary schools. She has served as clinical supervisor for graduate programs at various universities in the United States and Latin America. Encompassing all age groups, she practiced at Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in the Rehabilitation Department, addressing intricate neurological conditions in adults. She also visits corporations to provide Accent Modification Therapy to professionals, whose English is their second language, to increase intelligibility and effective communication. She gives each patient her undivided attention to accurately diagnose and treat a variety of speech and language disorders in all ages. She is PROMPT certified and a member of the Cultural and Linguistic Diversity Special Interest Group from the American Speech and Hearing Association.

Stephanie Azan Rodriguez

MS, CCC-SLP

Clinical Supervisor

Stephanie Azan Rodriguez

Stephanie is a Certified Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist who was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University in 2020. She then graduated from Florida International University with her master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology and Audiology in 2022. Since then, Stephanie has been an active part of our Children in Motion and Associates team as one of our Speech Language Pathologists and supervisors. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Throughout her academic and clinical experiences, Stephanie has developed a strong passion for helping children learn and grow. She specializes in providing individualized and effective speech and language therapy services to infants, preschoolers, and school-aged children who have receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language delays; speech sound disorders; Autism Spectrum Disorder; and more in the school and clinical settings. Stephanie uses an interdisciplinary approach to ensure collaboration between other healthcare professionals, therapists, teachers, and our children’s families to best serve the child’s developmental needs and goals.
